I think the reason I picked this one was pretty obvious, so I won't get into the details. :) It didn't take long for me to think how I would respond to your last picture! I love line-patterns. (Actually, I have a handful of others I could have picked, but this one I'm happiest with.)

Taken in early June at Jay Cooke State Park when Ryan and I went camping with Lane and Angie and Chad (and Bear and Penny and Zephyr). I should photoshop that dust off the wire, but we'll pretend like I did. I need to learn how to clean my sensor--the website tutorial has options that didn't appear on my camera.

I too am looking forward to when poor Chelsea is able to join us! She's being tough and brave and not taking the easy way out of an unfortunate situation, and I admire that.

Now I must go, with some degree of reluctance, to release a bat into the wild. I think I'm going to drive it to Colville or Hay Creek.
